Mission

The Library seeks to provide exceptional academic support through:

• leadership in information literacy;
• offering effective and courteous service;
• providing research assistance and facilitating discovery of library resources;
• designing and supporting a learning environment for all users.

The Teaching and Learning Services division serves the faculty and student populations of HCC with resources and staff that drive a culture of excellence in teaching and learning. We encourage innovation in the development of digital and physical learning environments and recognize the seminal role that design plays in the success of pedagogy and the integration of emerging technologies. We promote information literacy and create and advance knowledge through scholarship, strategic planning and modeling of active instruction.
