Banned Books - 2018

Welcome to Banned Books Week 2018

Everyone has the freedom to read, so let's celebrate!

Banned Books Week 2018: September 23-September 29

Books featured during Banned Books Week have all been targeted with removal or restrictions in libraries & schools.

While books continue to be banned, part of the Banned Books Week celebration is the fact that, in a majority of cases, the books remained available. This happens thanks to the efforts of librarians, teachers, students  & community members who stand up to speak out for the freedom to read.
