Journals A-Z: Purpose & Use

Purpose

Wondering if the Library has a particular journal title? Or do you need to browse and get an idea of what journals exist in a certain subject area?

The Journals A-Z is the tool to use. It allows you to identify:

  • available journal titles;
  • which databases contain a specific journal title; and,
  • available publication years.

Use

Access the Journals A-Z:

Click the E-Journals & E-Magazines tab.

Then:

  • to search by journal title: type the name of the journal in the search box and click search.
  • to browse by subject area: use the select a subject category dropdown to pick the broad subject area you need and click search to display a list of narrower subjects.

Results will list journal titles, the database containing the journals, and date coverage.
